Golden Bears Fall 33-28 Against Arizona - Game Recap

Ka'Deem Carey scampered through the California defense for 152 yards as Arizona handed the Golden Bears a 33-28 defeat on Saturday at California Memorial Stadium.

Arizona did not, however, defeat the Golden Bears against the spread, which closed at 14.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 67.5.

B.J. Denker completed 24 of 38 pass attempts for 261 yards for the Wildcats in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Daniel Lasco rushed for 71 yards for California, while Darren Ervin added 27 yards. Jared Goff threw for 289 yards for the Golden Bears, while receivers Kenny Lawler and Bryce Treggs had 72 and 51 yards respectively.

California lost the offensive yardage battle to Arizona 448-419 yards in Saturday's game. Arizona had more first downs as that total ended up 26-24.

The time of possession battle favored Arizona as their offense was on the field for 32:57, longer than the 27:03 of their opponents.

Arizona heads into a Week 11 battle against UCLA. California, meanwhile, will have their next action against Southern Cal.
