Western Michigan vs Iowa Recap - Hawkeyes Win 59-3
The battle between the Hawkeyes and Broncos didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Western Michigan was handed a 59-3 defeat on Saturday at Kinnick Stadium.

Jake Rudock completed 10 of 15 pass attempts for 134 yards for the Hawkeyes in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Brian Fields rushed for 58 yards for Western Michigan, while Tyler Van Tubbergen added 10 yards. Tyler Van Tubbergen threw for 114 yards for the Broncos, while receivers Brian Fields and Alec Moulton had 57 and 28 yards respectively.
Western Michigan was outgained by Iowa 446-209 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 22-9 by the Hawkeyes.
The time of possession battle favored Iowa as their offense was on the field for 36:11, longer than the 23:49 of their opponents.
Iowa looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Minnesota. Western Michigan will aim to get back on the winning track vs Kent State.
