Wildcats Fall 35-25 Against Baylor - Game Recap
Bryce Petty's 342-yard performance through the air was the key in Baylor's 35-25 win over Kansas State on Saturday at Snyder Family Stadium.
The Bears won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the 17-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.
Glasco Martin rushed for 70 yards, while Lache Seastrunk added 54 yards in the win. Tevin Reese and Antwan Goodley added 184 and 139 receiving yards respectively.
Daniel Sams rushed for 199 yards for Kansas State, while John Hubert added 90 yards. Jake Waters threw for 77 yards for the Wildcats, while receivers Curry Sexton and Torell Miller had 50 and 21 yards respectively.
Baylor outgained Kansas State 451-445 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 23-15 by the Wildcats.
Baylor lost the time of possession battle 39:24/20:36, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, Baylor takes its act home to face Iowa State looking for another win. For Kansas State, they head home to face West Virginia.
