Recap - Bulls Defeat Cincinnati 26-20
South Florida earned a 26-20 victory over Cincinnati on Saturday in Week 6 action at Raymond James Stadium.
The Bulls were a 10.5-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 47.5.
Bobby Eveld completed 10 of 16 pass attempts for 122 yards for the Bulls in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Ralph Abernathy rushed for 38 yards for Cincinnati, while Tion Green added 30 yards. Brendon Kay threw for 240 yards for the Bearcats, while receivers Anthony McClung and Shaq Washington had 90 and 48 yards respectively.
South Florida was outgained by Cincinnati 350-241 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 21-12 by the Bearcats.
Cincinnati lost the time of possession battle 30:34/29:26, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, South Florida takes its act on the road to face Connecticut looking for another win. For Cincinnati, they head home to face Temple.
