Blue Hens Fall 51-7 Against Navy - Game Recap
The Blue Hens had no answer for Keenan Reynolds on Saturday as the Midshipmen rolled to a 51-7 win at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
The Midshipmen were a 17-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 61.5.
Keenan Reynolds completed 10 of 13 pass attempts for 233 yards for the Midshipmen in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Andrew Pierce rushed for 83 yards for Delaware, while Julian Laing added 48 yards. Trent Hurley threw for 152 yards for the Blue Hens, while receivers Nick Boyle and Jerel Harrison had 47 and 34 yards respectively.
Navy outgained Delaware 589-336 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 31-18 by the Midshipmen.
Delaware lost the time of possession battle 33:48/26:12, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
