Jets fly past Dolphins
Chad Pennington passed for 175 yards with a pair of touchdowns Sunday to lead the New York Jets past the Miami Dolphins 20-17.
The Jets had been favored by 2.5-points in the game and were able to cover the spread. The combined score just went OVER the posted over/under total (36.5).
Laveranues Cole caught five passes for 106 yards with two touchdowns for New York. Leon Washington rushed for 58 yards on 11 carries.
Dolphins’ quarterback Joey Harrington completed 27-of-43 passes for 266 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Ronnie Brown rushed for 127 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.
