Steelers sink Vikings

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ defense smothered the Minnesota Vikings Sunday afternoon on route to an 18-3 victory.

The Steelers had been favored by 4.5-points in the game and easily covered the spread. The combined score was UNDER the posted over/under total (40).

Steelers’ quarterback Ben Roethlisberger completed 10-of-15 passes for 149 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions, be he did run in for a score. Willie Parker rushed for 81 yards on 14 carries.

Brad Johnson completed 16-of-30 passes for 143 yards with two interceptions for Minnesota. Michael Bennett was held to 43 yards on 11 carries.
