Washington Defeats New Orleans 40-32 - Recap

Pierre Thomas rushed for 17 yards for New Orleans, while Mark Ingram added 15 yards. Drew Brees threw for 339 yards for the Saints, while receivers Lance Moore and Jimmy Graham had 120 and 85 yards respectively.
New Orleans was outgained by Washington 464-358 yards in Sunday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 24-22 by the Saints.
The time of possession battle favored Washington as their offense was on the field for 39:10, longer than the 20:50 of their opponents.
Washington looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Rams. The Saints will aim to get back on the winning track at Carolina.
