Browns edge Raiders
Charlie Frye found Joe Jurevicius on a five-yard touchdown strike with 1:40 left to go in the fourth quarter Sunday to give the Cleveland Browns a 24-21 win over the Oakland Raiders.
The Browns had been favored by 2-points in the game and were able to cover the spread. The combined score went OVER the posted over/under total (33.5).
Frye finished the game with 192 passing yards, with three touchdowns and two interceptions. Reuben Droughns rushed for 100 yards on 25 carries.
Andrew Walter completed only 9-of-23 passes for 68 yards with a touchdown and an interception for Oakland. LaMont Jordan rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries.
