Recap - Colts Defeat Miami 23-20
Andrew Luck sliced and diced the Dolphins defense for 433 yards and 2 TDs as Indianapolis handed Miami a 23-20 defeat on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The Colts were a 2.5-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 44.5.
Vick Ballard rushed for 60 yards, while Delone Carter added 31 yards in the win. Donnie Avery and T.Y. Hilton added 108 and 102 receiving yards respectively.
Reggie Bush rushed for 41 yards for Miami, while Daniel Thomas added 37 yards. Ryan Tannehill threw for 290 yards for the Dolphins, while receivers Brian Hartline and Davone Bess had 107 and 67 yards respectively.
Miami lost the offensive yardage battle to Indianapolis 516-365 yards in Sunday's game. Indianapolis had more first downs as that total ended up 27-20.
The time of possession battle favored Indianapolis as their offense was on the field for 34:54, longer than the 25:06 of their opponents.
Next game, Indianapolis takes its act on the road to face Jacksonville looking for another win. For Miami, they head home to face Tennessee.
