New York Defeats Miami 20-17 - Recap
Eli Manning sliced and diced the Dolphins defense for 349 yards and 2 TDs as New York handed Miami a 20-17 defeat on Sunday at MetLife Stadium.
New York did not, however, defeat the Dolphins against the spread, which closed at 10 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 43.5.
Ahmad Bradshaw rushed for 50 yards, while Brandon Jacobs added 10 yards in the win. Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks added 99 and 67 receiving yards respectively.
Reggie Bush rushed for 103 yards for Miami, while Matt Moore added 31 yards. Matt Moore threw for 138 yards for the Dolphins, while receivers Brandon Marshall and Davone Bess had 55 and 43 yards respectively.
Miami lost the offensive yardage battle to New York 402-246 yards in Sunday's game. New York had more first downs as that total ended up 21-18.
Miami lost the time of possession battle 32:26/27:34, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, New York takes its act on the road to face New England looking for another win. For Miami, they head on the road to face Kansas City.
