Arian Foster rushed for 98 yards for Houston, while Ben Tate added 28 yards. Matt Schaub threw for 173 yards for the Texans, while receivers Owen Daniels and Andre Johnson had 60 and 39 yards respectively.

San Francisco lost the time of possession battle 33:52/26:08, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
