Giants bounce back against Panthers
The New York Giants broke a four-game losing streak, while overcoming a big game from Chris Weinke, to drop the Carolina Panthers 27-13 at the Bank of America Stadium on Sunday.
The Giants covered the 2.5-point spread on the road, and the 40 points scored were just OVER the posted total of 39.
Eli Manning went 17-for-33 for 172 yards and three touchdowns, with Tiki Barber adding 112 yards on 20 carries for the Giants.
Weinke was 34-for-61 for 423 yards and a score, but was picked off three times. Drew Carter caught eight passes for 144 yards and a major for the Panthers.
