Bears lose game and Grossman
The Chicago Bears not only lost 17-13 to the St. Louis Rams Friday night, they also lost starting quarterback Rex Grossman for three to four months with a broken ankle.
The Rams had been favored by 2-points in the game and were able to cover the spread. The combined score was UNDER the night’s posted over/under total (37.5).
Rams starting QB Mark Bulger completed 3-of-5 passes for 38 yards, while backup Jamie Martin threw for 143 yards and two touchdowns on 12-of-19 passing.
Grossman completed 6-of-11 passes for 52 yards before the injury. Backup Kyle Orton wasn’t much better, completing 7-of-10 passes for 93 yards with an interception.
