Clinton Portis rushed 101 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries Sunday afternoon, as the Washington Redskins defeated the San Francisco 49ers 52-17.

The Redskins had been favored by 13.5-points in the game an easily covered the spread. The combined score was well OVER the posted over/under total (36.5).

Mark Brunell completed 13-of-20 passes for 252 yards with three touchdowns for Washington. Santana Moss caught five passes for 112 yards and a touchdown.

49ers’ quarterback Alex Smith completed 8-of-16 passes for 92 yards with an interception. Frank Gore rushed for 89 yards on nine carries, including a 72-yard touchdown run.
