Campbell steers 'Skins past Panthers
Jason Campbell threw a 66-yard touchdown pass to Chris Colley with 4:21 remaining to give the Washington Redskins a 17-13 victory over the Carolina Panthers at FedEx Field on Sunday.
The Redskins were rated as 4.5-point home underdogs coming in, and the 30 points scored were UNDER the posted total of 36.
Campbell was 11-for-23 for 118 yards, two scores, and an interception. Ladell Betts gained 104 yards on the ground in 24 carries for the Redskins.
Jake Delhomme did not have a good day, going 23-for-38 for 168 yards, one touchdown, and two picks. Steve Smith was held to 34 yards and a major in five catches for the Panthers.
