Falcons trounce Lions in Thursday action

Michael Vick tossed two TD strikes to Alge Crumpler Thursday as the Atlanta Falcons picked up a 27-7 Thanksgiving Day win over the Detroit Lions.

The Falcons easily covered the 3-point spread on the road in this contest, while the combined score fell UNDER the game’s posted total (43.5).

Vick went 12-of-22 for 146 yards passing and an interception in the win. T.J. Duckett ran for an Atlanta score, and Todd Peterson booted two field goals.

For the Lions, Joey Harrington went 6-of-13 for 61 yards and an interception, while Jeff Garcia went 14-of-24 for 154 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Roy Williams had a TD catch for Detroit in the fourth quarter.
