Falcons fly past Jets
Michael Vick ran in for a pair of touchdowns Monday night to lead the Atlanta Falcons past the New York Jets 27-14.
The Falcons had been favored by 8.5-points in the game and were able to cover the spread. The combined score was just OVER the night’s posted over/under total (40.5).
Vick completed 11-of-26 passes for 116 yards with three interceptions in the win. Warrick Dunn rushed for 155 yards on 24 carries.
Jets’ quarterback Vinny Testeverde completed 11-of-18 passes for 140 yards with an interception before being replaced by Brooks Bollinger. Curtis Martin rushed for 28 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries.
