Colts shoot down Jets
Peyton Manning dove into the end zone from one-yard out late in the fourth quarter Sunday to give the Indianapolis Colts a 31-28 win over the New York Jets.
The Colts had been favored by 8-points in the game, but were unable to cover the spread. The combined score went OVER the posted over/under total (46.5).
Manning completed 21-of-30 passes for 217 yards and a touchdown in the win. Joseph Addai rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries.
Jets’ quarterback Chad Pennington completed 17-of-23 passes for 210 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Justin Miller returned a kick 103 yards for a touchdown.
