Colts finally defeat Patriots
Peyton Manning completed 28-of-37 passes for 321 yards with three touchdowns and an interception Monday night to lead the Indianapolis Colts past the New England Patriots 40-21.
The Colts had been favored 4.5-points in the game and easily covered the spread. The combined score was OVER the night’s posted over/under total (48).
Marvin Harrison caught nine passes for 128 yards with two touchdowns catches for the Colts. Edgerrin James rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown on 34 carries.
Tom Brady completed 22-of-33 passes for 265 yards with three touchdowns in the loss. Daniel Graham, Deion Branch and Troy Brown all caught a touchdown pass for the Patriots.
