Patriots shut down Buccaneers

Corey Dillon scored two touchdowns Saturday as the New England Patriots rolled to a 28-0 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Pats easily covered the 6-point spread at home in this game, while the day’s combined score fell UNDER the posted total (38.5).

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady went 20-of-31 for 258 yards passing in the win, with three touchdown strikes and no interceptions. Dillon, Tom Ashworth, and David Givens each had TD catches on the day.

Chris Simms was good on 21-of-34 pass attempts for 155 yards for the Bucs.
