Steelers end Bears streak
The Pittsburgh Steelers snapped the Chicago Bears eight-game winning streak Sunday afternoon by downing the Bears 21-9.
The Steelers had been favored by 6.5-points in the game and easily covered the spread. The combined score caused this game to be a push on the posted over/under total (30).
Ben Roethlisberger threw one touchdown pass for Pittsburgh, while completing 13-of-20 passes for 173 yards. Jerome Bettis rushed for 101 yards and tow touchdowns on 17 carries.
Bears’ quarterback Kyle Orton completed 17-of-35 passes for 207 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions. Thomas Jones rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries.
