Browns boots Seahawks past Broncos
Josh Brown kicked a field goal in the final seconds of the fourth quarter on Sunday night to give the Seattle Seahawks a 23-20 win over the Denver Broncos.
The Broncos had been favored by 4.5 points at home in this contest, while the combined score went OVER the night's posted total (40.5).
Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck went 16-of-28 for 168 yards passing, with zero touchdowns and one interception. Shaun Alexander ran for 90 yards and score, while Darryl Tapp returned an INT for a touchdown.
Jay Cutler completed 10-of-21 pass attempts for 143 yards in his debut as Denver's starting QB, with two TDs and two interceptions. Tatum Bell ran for 133 yards. Stephen Alexander and Brandon Marshall had the TD catches.
