Patriots knock off 49ers

Kevin Faulk rushed for 32 yards and a pair of touchdowns on seven carries Sunday, as the New England Patriots defeated the San Francisco 49ers 30-21.

The Patriots were a 3-point road favorite in the game and were able to cover the spread. The combined score went OVER the posted over/under total (41).

Matt Cassel passed for 259 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions for New England, while Randy Moss caught five passes for 111 yards with a touchdown.

J.T. O’Sullivan threw for 130 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions for San Francisco and Isaac Bruce caught three passes for 49 yards and two touchdowns.
