Senators sneak past Bruins
The Ottawa Senators took a 2-1 lead and held off the Boston Bruins in the third period for the win at TD Banknorth Garden Saturday.
Ottawa won as a +125 road underdog while the final score played UNDER the 5-goal total.
Daniel Alfredsson netted the opening goal in the first period while Jason Spezza scored the eventual game winner in second period. Senators goaltender Brian Elliott made 32 saves in the win.
The Bruins' lone goal came off the stick off Daniel Paille in the second period. Goaltender Tim Thomas stopped 21 shots.
