Hurricanes blow away Blues
Eric Staal scored a hat trick and added an assist Sunday as the Carolina Hurricanes defeated the St. Louis Blues 4-2.

Ray Whitney potted his eighth goal of the season for the Hurricanes, while Justin Williams and Erik Cole each had two assists.
Petr Cajanek and Mike Sillinger both found the back of the net for the Blues and Kevin Dallman had two assists.
Cam Ward stopped 25 of 27 shots for Carolina in the win. Curtis Sanford faced 37 shots and stopped 33 for St. Louis.
