The goal was assisted by Kevin Porter and Matt Hunwick.

Steve Mason stopped 28 of 32 shots for the Blue Jackets, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

Colorado lost the shots on goal battle to Columbus by a margin of 33-32.
