Dallas cruised to victory on Thursday, earning an easy 5-0 win over the Blackhawks at American Airlines Center.

Brenden Morrow, Jason Williams, Steve Ott, Brandon Segal, and Jamie Benn each scored for the Stars in the victory. Ott opened the scoring for Dallas, finding the back of the net at 17:37 of the first period. The goal was assisted by Brad Richards and Kari Lehtonen.

Kari Lehtonen turned in a 23-save effort for the Stars.

Marty Turco stopped 15 of 17 shots for the Blackhawks, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.
