The Detroit Red Wings moved into sole possession of first place in the league, as they defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-2 Thursday night at Joe Louis Arena.

Detroit won the game as -230 favorites, and the six goals made it OVER the posted over/under (5.5).

Jiri Hudler, Pavel Datsyuk, Tomas Kopecky and Daniel Cleary scored for the Wings. Chris Osgood made 21 saves in the win.

Brad Richards and Mathieu Darche scored for Tampa Bay, and Marc Denis stopped 35-of-39 shots in the loss.
