Jimmy Howard stopped all 30 shots for the shutout Thursday, as the Detroit Red Wings defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning 3-0 at Joe Louis Arena.

Detroit won the game as -200 favorites, while the teams played UNDER the posted over/under (5.5).

Drew Miller, Todd Bertuzzi, and Patrick Eaves scored for the Red Wings. Brian Rafalski pocketed two assists in the win.

Mike Smith stopped 19-of-22 shots for the Lightning, who lost for the sixth straight time.
