Carey Price stopped 23 of 25 shots for the Canadiens, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

Ottawa scored 1 time on 8 chances on the power play, while Montreal went 0-for-5 with the man advantage.

Ottawa lost the shots on goal battle to Montreal by a margin of 35-25.

Next game, Ottawa takes its act home to face Winnipeg looking for another win. For Montreal, they head home to face New York.
