Ducks blow out Capitals

Todd Marchant tallied one goal and two assists as the Anaheim Ducks pounded the Washington Capitals 6-1 at the MCI Center on Friday.

The Ducks were favored on the road at -160, and the seven goals scored were OVER the posted total of 6.5.

Teemu Selanne and Scott Thorton each scored a goal and an assist, while Andy McDonald put up the same numbers for the Ducks. Jean-Sebastien Giguere had 26 saves for the Ducks.

Alexander Semin scored the lone Washington goal, and Olaf Kolzig was shelled for six goals on 34 shots for the Capitals.
