Capitals edge Canucks

Taylor Pyatt notched both Vancouver goals on Friday, lifting the Vancouver Canucks to a 3-2 win over the Washington Capitals at MCI Center.

The Canucks were 100 road underdogs, and the five goals scored were UNDER the posted total of 5.5.

Daniel Sedin had a power-play marker, and Roberto Luongo stopped 26 shots for the Canucks.

Alexander Ovechkin also had a goal and an assist, while Chris Clark added two assists. Olaf Kolzig made 23 saves for the Capitals.
