Coyotes come back on Thrashers
Phoenix struck three times in the third period to tie the game, and Yanic Perrault scored at 2:31 of overtime to give the Coyotes a 5-4 win over the Atlanta Thrashers at Philips Arena on Friday.
The Coyotes won as road underdogs at 180, and the nine goals scored were OVER the posted total of 6.5.
Shane Doan hit a pair of goals, and Perrault also added an assist. Curtis Joseph stopped 18 shots for the Coyotes.
Marian Hossa scored twice, with Vitaly Vishnevski notching two assists. Johan Hedberg made 26 saves for the Thrashers.
