Shawn Horcoff, Sam Gagner, and Ryan Jones scored for the Oilers, finding the net behind Antti Niemi.

Devan Dubnyk stopped 31 of 34 shots for the Oilers, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, San Jose went 1-for-2, while the Oilers were 1-for-5 with the man advantage.

San Jose outshot Edmonton 34-27 in the game.
