2015 SuperContest: Week 13 Lines Set

The SuperContest is heading into the final stretch at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook, and there is not one double-digit favorite (or underdog) for entrants to pick for the first time since Week 8.

The Week 13 SuperContest Card does have two 9.5-point favorites though, with the Cincinnati Bengals (9-2) visiting the Cleveland Browns (2-9) and the New England Patriots (10-1) hosting the Philadelphia Eagles (4-7).

The Patriots are coming off their first loss of the season last Sunday night against the Denver Broncos (9-2), and they have won the past four meetings with the Eagles.

However, Philadelphia is 5-1 against the spread in the last six as an underdog versus New England. The Bengals have also struggled as favorites against the Browns, going 2-9-1 ATS under that scenario in the previous 12 games of that AFC North rivalry.

Packers Field-Goal Favorites on Thursday Night

The Green Bay Packers (7-4) will kick off Week 13 by visiting the Detroit Lions (4-7) on Thursday Night Football, and they are listed as 3-point road favorites on the SuperContest Card.

The Packers were 11.5-point home chalk in the SuperContest just three weeks ago when the Lions came into Lambeau Field and upset them 18-16 to start a three-game winning streak. Green Bay has dropped four of its last five games straight-up and failed to cover the spread in five of six.

Besides Packers-Lions, there are eight more games on the Week 13 SuperContest Card with spreads of four points or less. One of the most intriguing matchups features the Seattle Seahawks (6-5) visiting the Minnesota Vikings (8-3) in a pick’em game.

The Vikings are just 3-7 SU and ATS in their last 10 after winning their previous game as an underdog. The New York Jets (6-5) are also 2.5-point “road” favorites against the New York Giants (5-6) even though both teams play at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Plenty of Small Spreads on Week 13 Contest Card

The other six games with NFL lines of four points or less include four home favorites: the Tennessee Titans (-2.5) vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars; the Buffalo Bills (-3.5) vs. the Houston Texans; the Miami Dolphins (-4) vs. the Baltimore Ravens; and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-1.5) vs. the Atlanta Falcons.

The last two involve road favorites in AFC West games, including the Denver Broncos (-4) facing the San Diego Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs (-2.5) taking on the Oakland Raiders.
