2015 SuperContest: Week 15 Lines Out

Most contestants in the SuperContest at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook who are already out of the running for the grand prize will get a second life in Week 15 as they get to compete in the Mini Contest over the final three weeks.

That makes the NFL games slated for the Week 15 SuperContest Card some of the most important of the season, starting with an otherwise meaningless matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-7) and St. Louis Rams (5-8) on Thursday Night Football.

The Rams are listed as 2.5-point home favorites versus the Buccaneers on the SuperContest Card and have gone 1-6 against the spread in their last seven appearances on TNF. But the Bucs are 0-4 ATS in the past four meetings with St. Louis and have lost seven in a row straight-up against NFC West opponents.

Patriots, Seahawks Both Double-Digit Favorites

The two Super Bowl participants from last season are the only two double-digit favorites on the SuperContest Card, with the defending champion New England Patriots (11-2) and Seattle Seahawks (8-5) both hosting opponents with three wins.

The Patriots are 14-point chalk facing the Tennessee Titans (3-10) while the Seahawks are -14.5 taking on the Cleveland Browns (3-10). The Titans have lost five straight to New England, and the visiting team has dropped the last three games in the Seattle-Cleveland matchup. The Seahawks are also 9-2 ATS in their previous 11 home games in December.

Jets, Cardinals Chalk for Primetime Matchups

Two more primetime games in Week 15 feature teams fighting for the playoffs, but not the one that has typically been one of the best matchups. On Saturday, the New York Jets (8-5) visit the Dallas Cowboys (4-9) as 3.5-point road favorites.

With New England already clinching the AFC East for the seventh consecutive year and 12th time in the past 13 seasons, the Jets are hoping to stay in contention for one of the Wild Cards.

In the Sunday Night Football game, the Philadelphia Eagles (6-7) host the Arizona Cardinals (11-2) as 3.5-point home underdogs on the Week 15 SuperContest Card. The Eagles are currently one of three teams tied atop the NFC East while the Cardinals have clinched a playoff spot but are still battling Seattle for the NFC West title.

The Monday Night Football matchup wraps up the Week 15 action and has the New Orleans Saints (5-8) as 3-point home favorites against the Detroit Lions (4-9). The Saints are 10-2 SU in their last 12 MNF appearances but just 2-9-1 ATS in their last 12 games as favorites. The Lions have gone 1-4 SU and 0-5 ATS in the past five meetings.
