SuperContest: Denver Popular Week 13

Team OddsShark members banked on the Denver Broncos (9-2) coming through last week against the New England Patriots (10-1) as 3-point home underdogs, and they did just that in handing the defending Super Bowl champions their first loss of the season in a thrilling 30-24 overtime victory.

They are backing the Broncos as their top group play again in Week 13 of the SuperContest at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook, as nine of the 21 members (43 percent) selected them as 4-point road favorites versus the San Diego Chargers (3-8).

Among them is die-hard Denver fan Kelly Stewart (aka kellyinvegas), who is 2-0 when picking her team this season.

The Broncos barely missed the cut to be one of the Top 5 consensus NFL picks overall, as they sit sixth after being chosen by 366 contestants in the record field of 1,727 (21 percent).

Seahawks Top Consensus PIck for Week 13

The top Week 13 consensus pick overall is the Seattle Seahawks (6-5), who visit the Minnesota Vikings (8-3) as a pick’em on the SuperContest Card. The Seahawks were selected by 484 entrants (28 percent), which is the lowest amount of any team since Week 17 of last year.

Seattle was the second-most popular play among Team OddsShark, chosen six times to tie with the Vikings and St. Louis Rams (4-7), who are 5.5-point home underdogs against the Arizona Cardinals (9-2).

St. Louis upset Arizona 24-22 as a 7-point home underdog in Week 2 and is a perfect 3-0 in NFC West games. Among those backing the Rams are group leader David Fucillo and Nick Kostos, who trails him by only two points in the Team OddsShark Standings.

Fucillo and Kostos also both picked the Dallas Cowboys (3-8), who are 4.5-point road underdogs visiting the Washington Redskins (5-6) in the Week 13 Monday Night Football matchup.

But they differ on Sunday’s AFC West game between Denver and San Diego, with Fucillo selecting the Broncos and Kostos choosing the Chargers. They are currently both ranked in the Top 50 of the field overall, which will be paid out more than $2.5 million in prize money at the end of the NFL season.
