SuperContest: The Final Push for Prizes

Week 17 of the SuperContest at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook is finally upon us, and the race for the top prize of $906,675 is down to just two contestants.

Rounding Again (58.5) has a five-point lead on Fade Material (53.5), who would win the tiebreaker based on best record over the last three weeks. Two other contestants were in the running but share one pick with Rounding Again, who can take home the title with one win or a push or a loss/push by Fade Material among their five NFL picks.

OddsShark Co-Leaders Have Top-50 Shot

The co-leaders of Team OddsShark also have a shot to finish in the Top 50, which will be paid out more than $2.5 million in record winnings overall.

David Fucillo and Joe Ostrowski each have 50 out of a possible 80 points (63 percent) heading into Week 17, and they share the Denver Broncos (11-4) as a mutual play, leaving four picks to decide the group title. The Broncos are 9-point home favorites against the San Diego Chargers (4-11) and were selected by five other members of Team OddsShark as well.

Denver was the second-most popular pick in the group, tied with the Jacksonville Jaguars (5-10) and one behind the Buffalo Bills (7-8) and Green Bay Packers (10-5), who were each chosen by eight team members.

The Jaguars visit the Houston Texans (8-7) as 6-point road underdogs, the Bills host the New York Jets (9-5) as 3-point home underdogs and the Packers close out the regular season as 3-point home favorites versus the Minnesota Vikings (10-5) for the NFC North title on Sunday Night Football.

Bills Top Consensus Contest Pick for Week

Buffalo was also the top consensus NFL pick overall, selected by 403 of the 1,376 entrants (29 percent) who made plays in Week 17 (351 did not submit them). Green Bay (chosen 392 times) was the second-most popular pick overall followed by the Jets (327), New York Giants (327) and Pittsburgh Steelers (317).

Despite being one of the top plays by Team OddsShark, Denver (115) ranked 27th out of 32 picks overall. For a complete listing of Team OddsShark contest picks, click here.
