SuperContest: Titans Popular Week 10

For the first time since Week 1 – before the season started – none of the Top 5 Consensus Picks in the Super Contest at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook have a winning record.

And the most popular play for contestants in Week 10 is the Tennessee Titans (2-6), who are hosting the unbeaten Carolina Panthers (8-0) as 5.5-point home underdogs on the SuperContest Card. The betting public is also on the Titans, dropping them to +4 according to the latest NFL odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.

Tennessee was selected by 620 of the 1,727 contestants (36 percent) in the SuperContest, edging out the Oakland Raiders (4-4), who were picked 520 times (30 percent). Team OddsShark agrees with the Titans as the top pick, with 12 of the 21 members (57 percent) choosing them among their five NFL picks for Week 10.

Group leader David Fucillo and Nick Kostos, who is three points behind him in second place, both took Tennessee. The Raiders were selected by six team members and didn’t even make the team’s Top 5, although they were chosen by the OddsShark Super Computer.

Redskins, jaguars popular week 10 picks

Instead, the Washington Redskins (3-5) and Jacksonville Jaguars (2-6) tied for the second-most popular pick among Team OddsShark, with each team selected by nine members. The Redskins are listed as a Pick’em on the Week 10 SuperContest Card against the New Orleans Saints (4-5) at home while the Jaguars are visiting the Baltimore Ravens (2-6) as 5.5-point road underdogs.

Jacksonville has covered the spread in the past two meetings with Baltimore, falling 20-12 last year as 14-point dogs. The Jaguars were the third most-popular pick by contestants overall, selected on 466 entries (27 percent), and Washington was fourth (selected 448 times for 26 percent).

Another popular pick by Team OddsShark that did not make the Top 5 overall was the Arizona Cardinals (6-2), who visit the Seattle Seahawks (4-4) in the Week 10 Sunday Night Football game.

Arizona is a 3-point road underdog and was selected eight times to rank fourth among the group picks. Members Jon Anik and Joe Ostrowski discussed why they picked the Cardinals in this week’s OddsShark SuperContest Showdown video.
