Texans picked to beat Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens have been ravaged by injuries, but will be fighting for the top seed in the AFC this week when they visit the Houston Texans at Reliant Stadium this Sunday.

Baltimore lost two key defensive stars, LB Ray Lewis and CB Lardarius Webb, to season-ending injuries last week.

Baltimore is a perfect 6-0 SU and 4-2 ATS all-time against the Houston Texans. Houston is 9-4 SU and 10-3 ATS in its last 13 games at home.

Harbaugh decision costs 49ers bettors

We’re midway through football season, and everything is going the sportsbooks’ way.

San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh’s decision to decline a penalty that would have resulted in a covering safety caused a “five-figure” swing in favor of Sportsbook.ag, a representative told OddsShark.com. The 49ers beat the Seattle Seahawks 13-6 Thursday.

NFL Odds: Week 7 NFL Line Moves

After losing two key defensive players last week the Baltimore Ravens find themselves sinking on the NFL betting lines at the sportsbooks heading into their Sunday matchup on the road against the Houston Texans.

Ravens cornerback Lardarius Webb (knee) and linebacker Ray Lewis (triceps) were both placed on injured reserve this past week, dealing a blow to Baltimore's defensive unit. The Texans opened as 4.5-point favorites on the NFL lines at 5Dimes against the Ravens, but that spread is now up to 7.5 points.

Seahawks vs 49ers Betting Preview

The San Francisco 49ers will be looking for their fourth straight win over the Seattle Seahawks and first place in the NFC West when they host the Seahawks this Thursday night at Candlestick Park.

But they have a short week to forget about getting killed at home against the Giants. The last time they lost, they responded with a huge 35-3 win against the Jets, so handicappers are anticipating a bounce game here.

San Francisco is 3-0 SU and 2-1 ATS in its last three games against Seattle and 3-0 SU and ATS in its last three home games against the Seahawks as well.

Seattle is 4-11 SU in its last 15 road games and 7-14-1 ATS in its last 22 road games. San Francisco is 9-2 SU and ATS in its last 11 home games, with both losses coming to the New York Giants. [ Bet on Thursday Night Football and pocket up to $900 in bonuses when you check out BetOnline ]

NFL Betting: Week 7 Opening Lines

The Patriots suffered an ugly collapse in their Week 6 loss to the Seahawks, but that didn't stop them from being opened as the biggest favorite at the sportsbooks for Week 7 of the season.

The initial line at 5Dimes had Tom Brady and company listed as 11.5-point home favorites over Mark Sanchez and the Jets for their game on Sunday afternoon, with both of those teams at 3-3 SU and 4-2 ATS on the season.

The Patriots were 2-0 both SU and ATS against the Jets last season, with the OVER paying out in each of those two matchups.
