UFC 116 Betting Preview

Brock Lesnar makes his long-awaited return to the octagon this weekend when he puts his UFC Heavyweight championship on the line versus Shane Carwin at UFC 116: Lesnar vs. Carwin.

When Lesnar steps into the octagon on Saturday night almost a year will have passed since his last fight. Injuries and illness have caused a number of the UFC Heavyweight champion's fights to be postponed, including a prior matchup with Carwin at UFC 106.

Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Werdum Odds

Strikeforce puts their top draw on display this weekend when Fedor Emelianenko returns to the ring to face Fabricio Werdum at Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Werdum.

As always Fedor is heavily favored in Saturday night's bout. “The Last Emperor” is a -650 favorite at Bovada in the fight as he tries to extend his winning streak to 12. Fedor's last fight was at Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers in November. He faced then-undefeated Brett Rogers and handed him his first defeat by TKO in the second round.

MMA Odds: Fedor vs. Werdum Betting Preview

There is no question that Strikeforce is well below the UFC on the mixed martial arts odds pecking order in terms of popularity and betting action.

However, one Strikeforce fighter, Fedor Emelianenko, the world’s top-ranked heavyweight, can match the star power of just about any UFC fighter. Emelianenko returns to action on Saturday night against UFC and Pride veteran Fabricio Werdum at an event co-promoted by Strikeforce and M-1 Global in San Jose, Calif. The card will be televised by Showtime.

WEC 49 Varner vs Shalorus Preview

World Extreme Cagefighting goes international this weekend with their first event outside the USA, WEC 49: Varner vs. Shalorus at Rexall Place in Edmonton.

No Big Underdogs in TUF 11 Odds List

Another season of The Ultimate Fighter wraps up this weekend with the finale fight between the last two men standing - Court McGee and Kris McCray. And like all previous TUF finales, this one features a menu of star quality with Matt Hamill facing Keith Jardine among others.

Strikeforce: Los Angeles Preview

It's a mid-week special for MMA fans tonight with Strikeforce: Los Angeles.

The Strikeforce: Los Angeles card lost some of its luster after Bobby Lashley's fight with Ron Sparks was canceled due to a knee injury to Lashley. The main event still packs some punch, though, with Robbie Lawler set to face Renato Sobral at catchweight (195 lbs). The winner of the bout will get a title match in their regular weight class.

MMA Betting Lines: UFC 115 Liddell vs. Franklin Odds

Mixed martial arts again takes over the fight focus from boxing at bodog’s online sportsbook this weekend with UFC 115 taking place Saturday night in Vancouver, a card headlined by a light heavyweight matchup between Chuck Liddell against Rich Franklin.

UFC 115 Betting Preview

A couple of UFC legends meet up in the octagon this weekend when Chuck Liddell faces Rich Franklin at UFC 115. Liddell and Franklin are both former UFC champions looking to rebound from losses in their last bout. Both are also known for their raw knockout power, which means either fighter could win the fight if they connect with the right shot.

Russow, Diabate Win as Big UFC 114 Underdogs

Neither Mike Russow and Cyrile Diabate were big names on the UFC 114 card, but both were big names for UFC underdog bettors. Russow stunned Todd Duffee, knocking him out in the third round as a +250 underdog at Bovada. Duffee had been a -325 favorite on the UFC odds list.
