Ronda Rousey Career UFC Odds History

It seems that it will be some time before we see Ronda Rousey make her eighth appearance in the octagon. Rousey first spoke with the media since her loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193 and her self-prognosis does not sound optimistic.

Speaking in an interview with ESPN magazine, ‘Rowdy’ said she could not imagine eating an apple for three-to-six months, let alone taking and sort of punches. That same interview also had Rousey say she is going to stick with coach Edmond Tarverdyan, despite the outcry of the MMA community for her to switch to a better trainer.

UFC 192: Cormier Big Fave vs Gustafsson

UFC 192 will see Daniel Cormier defend his light heavyweight title against Alexander Gustafsson, with DC as a sizable -340 favorite to retain the strap according to 5Dimes.

“Jon Jones' run notwithstanding, historically, the 205-lbs. belt has been a very difficult one to defend. So on the surface, it may seem that the price on Cormier is inflated here,” says UFC commentator Jon Anik. “But I don't necessarily see it that way.”

UFC 192: Does Bader Offer Any Value?

Rashad Evans makes his long awaited return to the octagon at UFC 192, but will not have an easy road back as he faces off against top contender Ryan Bader. Despite a nearly two year layoff, Evans is currently the favorite according to 5Dimes.

“The betting line is a direct reflection of Evans' layoff, which dates to UFC 167 in November of 2013, but I also think it speaks to Bader's improvements as a fighter, both technically and athletically,” Anik explains.

Dillashaw Opens as UFC Favorite vs Cruz

Though TJ Dillashaw’s reign as UFC bantamweight champion has been fairly short, just two title defenses, he has looked like one of the best finishers the weight class has seen in years.

Dillashaw’s recent domination of Renan Barao, twice over, has the Team Alpha Male member opening as a -160 fave for his title defense in January against Dominick Cruz, according to 5Dimes.
