Bellator 60 Betting Preview

The sixth season of Bellator Fighting Championships kicks off with a featherweight championship bout and the start of the featherweight tournament.

Veterans Joe Warren and Pat Curran do battle in the Main Event Friday March 9 at The Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana.

Warren (7-2) is back to defend his Bellator featherweight belt after failing in a drop to bantamweight last year. He faces the hard-hitting Curran, a world-class grappler who is 16-4 lifetime.

Strikeforce Odds: Tate vs. Rousey

MMA bettors will be in for a treat this weekend when Olympic bronze medalist Ronda Rousey and Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight champion Miesha Tate step into the cage for what could be an historic night.

Rousey is the first elite world-class athlete to enter women’s MMA and thus far she has stood up to all the hype, submitting all four of her opponent’s in less than 50 seconds.

UFC Odds: Alves vs. Kampmann

MMA betting fans have another fight card to wager on only six days after UFC 144.

This Friday night UFC on FX 2 will be headlined by a Welterweight battle between two of the best in the division, as well as two semi-final Flyweight tournament fights.

The headliner for the UFC on FX 2 fight card will feature hard-hitting Thiago Alves trying to get himself back into title contention with a win over Martin Kampmann.

UFC 144 Odds: Edgar vs. Henderson

MMA betting fans have an opportunity to take advantage of a low price on one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the sport this weekend at UFC 144, but the price is cheap for a reason.

Oddsmakers at 5Dimes currently have UFC odds of -130 on Frank Edgar to defend his Lightweight title against Ben Henderson. That price has climbed slightly from -125, but in our opinion remains an MMA betting bargain.

MMA Odds: UFC on Fuel TV

In the absence of UFC Welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre the 170-pound division is quickly undergoing major changes.

That transformation will continue on February 15 when top contenders Diego Sanchez and Jake Ellenberger battle on UFC on Fuel TV for what could be the next shot at Carlos Condit’s new interim title.

Ellenberger has been an MMA betting stud over the last two years, stringing together five straight impressive wins with the latest coming against former Strikeforce Middleweight champion Jake Shields.

UFC 143 Odds: Diaz vs. Condit

The UFC's Welterweight division will have an interim champion Saturday when Carlos Condit and Nick Diaz - who had each been promised a shot at Georges St-Pierre before he got hurt - do battle at UFC 143 in Las Vegas.

UFC 143 odds makers were initially off on handicapping this fight, according to MMA betting enthusiasts. Following an impressive win over MMA legend B.J. Penn, oddsmakers at 5Dimes offered Nick Diaz as a +105 underdog against Condit.

MMA Odds: UFC on Fox 2

Odds for the upcoming UFC on Fox 2 fight card are up and, as expected, Rashad Evans is favored to win in the main event and earn a crack at Jon Jones' light heavyweight belt.

MMA betting fans will also have a chance to bet on a heavily-favored Chael Sonnen, who will step into the Octagon against the solid kickboxing skills of Michael Bisping.

UFC on FX Betting Preview

Lightweight contenders Jim Miller and Melvin Guillard will clash on the MMA odds board in the UFC on FX main event on Friday night with title-shot relevancy on the line.

This is a big fight in the stacked Lightweight division with the winner likely getting back into the top four of the division rankings.

The UFC on FX fight card will also feature a heavyweight bout between Pat Barry and Christian Morecraft.

UFC 142 Betting: Brazilians Favored

The Brazil vs The World theme returns as the UFC returns to Rio Saturday and if this goes down like UFC 134, betting the hometown heroes will be profitable.

Last time, eight fights involved Brazilians and MMA fighters from the rest of the world and the hosts were 7-1, including some dramatic upsets. The UFC 142 odds menu features seven such matchups this time.

UFC 142 Odds: Aldo vs. Mendes

The last time the UFC went to Brazil it was an MMA betting bonanza for those who wagered strictly on the Brazilians.

This event does not have the same feel as the first Brazilian card, and it’s possible that there will be some disappointed Brazilian fans before the UFC 142 action is over on Saturday night.

In the main event Featherweight champion Jose Aldo will put his title on the line against an undefeated wrestling sensation in Chad Mendes. When it comes to fighting styles Mendes brings the one style that could beat the dominant champ.
