Bellator 45 Fight Card Preview

The fourth season of Bellator comes to a close on Saturday night with Bellator 45 and a main card that includes two tournament finals.

On the main card of the Bellator 45 odds menu are the tournament finals from the Featherweight and Light Heavyweight divisions.

First the Featherweight bout, where Patricio Freire will take on Daniel Straus. This will be Freire's second shot at the Featherweight tournament final. He reached the final in Season 2 but lost to Joe Warren, the reigning Bellator Featherweight champion.

UFC Betting Odds Explained

Much like betting on boxing, MMA wagering pits one fighter against the other. Typically, moneyline odds are assigned to the favorite and underdog.

A big favorite like Anderson Silva might see him at -500 (meaning you need to risk $500 just to make $100 in profit). However, if Forrest Griffin is a big underdog, he might be +350 odds (meaning a $100 wager would put $350 profit in your pocket).

Bellator 44 Fight Card Preview

The Bellator Lightweight tournament winner will be crowned this weekend, and either Patricky Freire or Michael Chandler will pocket six-figures and a shot at Eddie Alvarez’s  title. Both fighters bring excellent skills to this bout and oddsmakers at Bovada have the same -115 line on them.

Bellator 43 Fight Card Preview

The Bellator Fighting Championships will wrap up their Season Four Welterweight tournament this weekend at Bellator 43 in Newkirk, Oklahoma.

Jay Hieron will be the favorite to earn a shot at Ben Askren’s Bellator Welterweight title some time later in the year, but he first has to get past the undefeated Rick Hawn.

Aldo vs. Hominick Betting Preview

Mark Hominick will have 55,000 local fans cheering for him to become the next UFC Featherweight title holder when he steps into the Octagon at UFC 129, but he’s got to beat one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world to do it.

The co-main event on the UFC 129 fight card will feature UFC Featherweight champion Jose Aldo defending his title against scrappy Ontario native Hominick. MMA oddsmakers at 5Dimes have the cheapest line on the favored Aldo at -410, while some other books have him as expensive as -500.

If Jake Shields is such a threat to take Georges St-Pierre’s UFC Welterweight title at UFC 129, can someone tell us why the cheapest MMA odds on the champ to successfully defend are -440 at 5Dimes?

UFC 129 Betting Preview

For the first time in years Georges St-Pierre has an opponent worthy of challenging for his UFC Welterweight title. Jake Shields has come to the UFC from Strikeforce with one thing in mind, but he’s got a big mountain to climb before Dana White puts the Welterweight strap around his waist in Toronto at UFC 129.
