UFC 199: Why Michael Bisping Can Win

Michael Bisping UFC

Michael Bisping steps into the Octagon Saturday night at UFC 199 as one of the year’s biggest underdogs. The title shot against Luke Rockhold was originally scheduled to go to Chris Weidman, but due to an injury he was forced to pull out. As a result, Bisping will get his first crack at a UFC title on just a few weeks’ notice.

Oddsmakers and fight fans aren’t giving the Brit much of a chance against Rockhold, but this fight could be much closer than you think. If you’re trying to talk yourself into picking Bisping, here’s some extra ammunition to back up your wager:

UFC 209

UFC 209 Betting

UFC 209 is scheduled to take place on March 4th, 2017 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and showcases a rematch between Tyron Woodley and Stephen Thompson. The two previously met at UFC 205, where they fought to a controversial draw. UFC 209 will also see an interim lightweight title bout between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson. They were originally scheduled to fight on two previous occasions but those bouts were canceled due to injuries.

UFC 199: Cruz vs Faber Betting Odds

With the all-time series split and a general distain for one another, Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber will meet for a third time at UFC 199. Cruz will defend his UFC Bantamweight belt for the first time since regaining it following a year and a half layoff due to injuries.

The first time Cruz and Faber met came back in WEC in 2007. ‘The California Kid’ gave ‘The Dominator’ the lone loss of his entire MMA career in that bout with Faber winning via guillotine in the first round. The second meeting came at UFC 132 when Cruz defended the bantamweight belt in a five-round battle.
