Boxing Betting: March Preview & Odds

March 2014 is heavily stacked with boxing betting action and boxing odds are already available on numerous prize fights scheduled for the next four weeks. Boxing: Bute vs Pascal Betting Odds

The biggest fight in recent Canadian boxing history goes Saturday as former champs Lucian Bute and Jean Pascal battle for the vacant NABF light heavyweight title in Montreal.

Both men call Montreal home and the 22,000-seat Bell Centre is sold out for the battle of Bute, born in Romania, and Pascal, born in Haiti.

Boxing Betting: January Preview & Odds

The month of January will feature numerous world title boxing matches for boxing betting fans to wager on. This coming weekend will feature an all-Canadian matchup for the WBO Diamond Light Heavyweight title between former WBC and Ring Light Heavyweight champion Jean Pascal (28-2-1) and former IBF Super Middleweight champion Lucian Bute (31-1).

Boxing Betting: December Preview

The first weekend of December will offer boxing betting fans a wide selection of boxing odds as numerous cards are scheduled and lines on at least 10 fights are already available.

In defense of his newly won IBF Middleweight title, Darren Barker (26-1) will face a tough test against Felix Sturm (44-3-2). Currently a slight -120 favorite at 5Dimes to hold onto his belt, Barker will need to take advantage of pace and speed if he’s going to hold onto his title this weekend.

Boxing: Pacquiao vs. Rios Betting Odds

Manny Pacquiao hasn’t looked like himself in recent fights and the moneyline for boxing bettors doesn’t look the same either.

The former multi-division champ looks to return to the win column against Brandon Rios in Macau, China on Saturday and the odds to back Pacman have seldom been as affordable.

Boxing Betting: November Preview

The month of November offers boxing betting fans a collection of fight cards that include title bouts in the Middleweight, Super Middleweight, and Welterweight divisions.

November will also see the return to the ring of former pound-for-pound No. 1 in the world Manny Pacquiao, who will be looking to get back on the winning track following two straight losses.

Boxing Betting: October Preview

Normally a slower month for boxing betting action, October 2013 is stacked with lots of bouts featuring some of the biggest names in the sport. On the line in October will be the WBA, IBF, IBO, Ring, and WBO Heavyweight titles, the WBO Welterweight title, as well as the IBF Light Heavyweight title.

This coming weekend on October 5 all eyes in the boxing betting world will be on the Olympic Arena in Moscow when Wladimir Klitschko (60-3, 51 KOs) puts all his Heavyweight titles on the line against undefeated Olympic Gold medallist Alexander Povetkin (26-0, 18 KO’s).

Mayweather Betting Odds Shorter

Betting on Mayweather has been one of those rare 100% guaranteed wagers, but not everyone can afford to place the bet.

It's different Saturday as he faces Saul Alvarez, because oddsmakers view Canelo as a more serious threat to Mayweather's perfect 44-0 record.

"Normally, laying a bet on Floyd Mayweather forces you to risk so much money that it's not really worth the bet," explains Jack Randall of "When he is a 6-1 favorite, it means betting $600 to turn a $100 profit - pretty risky without a ton of return."

Boxing Betting: September Preview

Boxing betting action for September will feature a WBO Lightweight title fight between Ricky Burns and Raymundo Beltran, a WBC and WBA Light Welterweight title fight between Lucas Martin Matthysse and Danny Garcia, and a WBC and WBA Light Middleweight unification title fight between Saul Alvarez and Floyd Mayweather Jr.
