Coca-Cola 600 Betting Preview

After running in the All-Star Race last weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Jimmie Johnson and the rest of the NASCAR drivers are set to tear up the same track this Sunday as they chase down the checkered flag at the Coca-Cola 600.

Johnson has yet to claim a Sprint Cup event this season, but observers believe the All-Star Race winner has turned the corner and is ready to go after the Chase title after his five-year reign ended last season. He is a three-time champ at the Coca-Cola 600, but it has been six years since he’s won the race.

NASCAR Betting: All-Star Race

The Sprint Cup Series will offer bettors something a little different on Saturday night, as the circuit ditches its regular schedule for the week to offer up its 2012 All-Star event.

That means it'll be a large cash prize - and not the usual standings points - that'll be the incentive for the Sprint Cup Series drivers as they take to the track at Charlotte Motor Speedway under the lights on Saturday.

NASCAR Betting: Daytona 500 Odds

Jimmie Johnson and Dale Earnhardt Jr. opened as the co-favorites on the NASCAR betting lines to win the 2012 Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway.

Johnson and Earnhardt Jr. both sit at 10/1 at Bovada to win the Daytona 500 on February 26, something they've both managed to do in the past – Johnson was the 2006 champion, and Earnhardt Jr. won it back in 2004.

NASCAR Betting: Ford 400

There are only two drivers left on the Sprint Cup betting board as NASCAR wraps up its 2011 schedule on Sunday with the Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

It's down to either Carl Edwards or Tony Stewart for this year's drivers championship, with Edwards holding down a slim three-point lead in the standings on Stewart heading into the final race of the season. That has him as the -145 favorite at TopBet to win the title this year, with Stewart set as the +115 underdog.

Tony Stewart has taken the checkered flag in each of the last two Sprint Cup Series races, and he's now tied with Carl Edwards atop the NASCAR betting board to win the championship with just two events left in the season.

Stewart has earned back-to-back wins at Martinsville and Texas and now sits just three points back of Sprint Cup leader Edwards in the driver standings. Edwards retained the lead by finishing second behind Stewart in the AAA Texas 500 over the weekend.

NASCAR Betting: AAA Texas 500

Time is running out in NASCAR's Chase for the Sprint Cup, with just three races left on the schedule starting with Sunday's AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.

And after seven Chase events it's Carl Edwards who sits atop the standings and the NASCAR odds board at Bovada. Edwards is holding down an eight-point lead on Tony Stewart in the driver standings, and he's the 10/11 favorite to win the Sprint Cup Championship at the end of the season.

NASCAR Betting: Tums Fast Relief 500

Carl Edwards leads the Sprint Cup standings and the NASCAR betting board as the circuit's drivers get set to take on Martinsville Speedway in the Tums Fast Relief 500 on Sunday afternoon.

Edwards is up by 14 points on Matt Kenseth in the driver standings after six Chase events, and as a result he's the 2/3 favorite at Bovada to win the Sprint Cup championship this season. Edwards leads all drivers with 16 Top-5 finishes and 22 Top-10 results through the first 32 races of the 2011 season.

NASCAR Betting: Good Sam Club 500

The Chase for the Sprint Cup is half over, but the NASCAR betting board still doesn't have a runaway championship favorite as the series heads to Talladega this weekend for the Good Sam Club 500.

Carl Edwards holds down first place in the Sprint Cup standings after five Chase races, but he leads Kevin Harvick by just five points and Matt Kenseth by only seven points on that list. Edwards is the 2/1 favorite at Bovada to win the Sprint Cup this season, with Harvick at 5/2 odds, and Kenseth at 4/1 odds.

NASCAR Betting: Bank of America 500

Jimmie Johnson is back in the driver's seat on the NASCAR betting board as the Sprint Cup Series prepares for the Bank of America 500 on Saturday night at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Johnson raced to the win in the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway last time out, which pushed him to within four points of leader Carl Edwards in the driver standings and up to favored status at 2/1 on the Sprint Cup Championship odds board at Bovada.
