NASCAR Betting: Tums Fast Relief 500

Carl Edwards leads the Sprint Cup standings and the NASCAR betting board as the circuit's drivers get set to take on Martinsville Speedway in the Tums Fast Relief 500 on Sunday afternoon.

Edwards is up by 14 points on Matt Kenseth in the driver standings after six Chase events, and as a result he's the 2/3 favorite at Bovada to win the Sprint Cup championship this season. Edwards leads all drivers with 16 Top-5 finishes and 22 Top-10 results through the first 32 races of the 2011 season.

The Chase for the Sprint Cup is half over, but the NASCAR betting board still doesn't have a runaway championship favorite as the series heads to Talladega this weekend for the Good Sam Club 500.

Carl Edwards holds down first place in the Sprint Cup standings after five Chase races, but he leads Kevin Harvick by just five points and Matt Kenseth by only seven points on that list. Edwards is the 2/1 favorite at Bovada to win the Sprint Cup this season, with Harvick at 5/2 odds, and Kenseth at 4/1 odds.

Jimmie Johnson is back in the driver's seat on the NASCAR betting board as the Sprint Cup Series prepares for the Bank of America 500 on Saturday night at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Johnson raced to the win in the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway last time out, which pushed him to within four points of leader Carl Edwards in the driver standings and up to favored status at 2/1 on the Sprint Cup Championship odds board at Bovada.

Brad Keselowski will be looking to make an impact on the NASCAR betting board this weekend as the Sprint Cup Series stages the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway.

Keselowski won the STP 400 at Kansas back in June, beating Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Denny Hamlin across the finish line at that event. Jeff Gordon and Carl Edwards also picked up Top-5 results in the STP 400.

Jimmie Johnson has some work to do in the Sprint Cup Series standings as the circuit takes on Dover International Speedway this weekend at the AAA 400.

Johnson, the five-time defending Sprint Cup champion, has slipped to 10th place in the driver standings after two Chase events, and he's down to 13/2 odds on the NASCAR betting board at Bovada to come up with his sixth title in a row.

Kevin Harvick sits atop the oddsmakers' betting board to win the Sprint Cup championship as the series heads to New Hampshire Motor Speedway for this weekend's Sylvania 300.

Harvick, who sits in first place in the driver standings this week, is the 7/2 favorite at Bovada to claim the Sprint Cup when the Chase comes to an end in two months. Defending champion Jimmie Johnson is next at 4/1 odds, with Kyle Busch and Tony Stewart both sitting at 5/1 odds to win the series title this season.

There's a three-way tie atop the odds list at the sportsbooks for this week's Sprint Cup Series event, the AdvoCare 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Carl Edwards, Jimmie Johnson, and Kyle Busch are all listed at 8/1 odds at Bovada to take the checkered flag in the AdvoCare 500 on Sunday night.

NASCAR Odds: Irwin Tools Night Race

Defending race champion Kyle Busch is the oddsmakers' choice to visit Victory Lane this weekend in the Irwin Tools Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Busch is pegged as the +275 favorite on the NASCAR odds at 5Dimes heading into Saturday night's Sprint Cup Series event. The standings leader has won more Sprint Cup Series races (four) than any other driver so far this season.

Jimmie Johnson and Carl Edwards are the co-favorites on the NASCAR betting lines to take the checkered flag in the Pure Michigan 400 at Michigan International Speedway this weekend.

At Bovada it's Johnson and Edwards at the top of the Sprint Cup betting board to win Sunday afternoon's Michigan event at 7/1 odds, with Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch both sitting at 8/1 odds to visit Victory Lane at the race this weekend.
