NASCAR Odds: Pure Michigan 400

Jimmie Johnson and Carl Edwards are the co-favorites on the NASCAR betting lines to take the checkered flag in the Pure Michigan 400 at Michigan International Speedway this weekend.

At Bovada it's Johnson and Edwards at the top of the Sprint Cup betting board to win Sunday afternoon's Michigan event at 7/1 odds, with Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch both sitting at 8/1 odds to visit Victory Lane at the race this weekend.

Sprint Cup Betting: Watkins Glen

With just five races left before the Chase begins NASCAR betting heats up this weekend at the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at the Glen at the road course at Watkins Glen International on Sunday afternoon.

And with road course racing comes some interesting names at the top of the Sprint Cup Series odds board, with Marcos Ambrose at 9/2, Tony Stewart at 13/2, and Juan Pablo Montoya at 15/2 at Bovada to take the checkered flag this weekend.

NASCAR Betting: Gordon, Hamlin top odds

Jeff Gordon and Denny Hamlin have nine Cup wins between them at Pocono Raceway, and they're the oddsmakers' co-favorites for Sunday's Good Sam RV Insurance 500 at the track.

Gordon and Hamlin both sit at 5/1 on the Sprint Cup Series betting board at Bovada for Sunday's race. Gordon won the 5-Hour Energy 500 at Pocono in June and has five total Victory Lane trips in Cup events on the track. Hamlin has picked up four Cup wins at Pocono Raceway since 2006.

How to Bet on NASCAR

Betting on NASCAR can be a real crapshoot but there are enough creative NASCAR odds types that a savvy handicapper can turn a profit at the track each weekend.

Sure, there are elite drivers and drivers who always seem to be near the front of the pack on certain tracks. But every driver is also one bad bump or one wreck away from being out of the race, making your bet on who will win the race a losing one.

NASCAR Odds: Brickyard 400

Jimmie Johnson has won three Sprint Cup races at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in his career, and he'll be looking for his fourth victory on the track this weekend as the oddsmakers' favorite at the Brickyard 400.

Johnson sits at 6/1 at Bovada to visit Victory Lane at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday and pay off on the NASCAR odds. Johnson, currently in second in the Sprint Cup Series standings, won this race in 2009, 2008, and 2006.

NASCAR Odds: Lenox Industrial Tools 301

Denny Hamlin and Jimmie Johnson are the oddsmakers' co-favorites to take the checkered flag on Sunday afternoon in the Sprint Cup Series' Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Hamlin and Johnson are both set at 11/2 on the NASCAR odds at Bovada for the series' first race on the New Hampshire track this season; Johnson won this event last season and in 2003, while Hamlin visited Victory Lane in the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 back in 2007.

Quaker State 400 Betting Odds

Carl Edwards has dropped out of the top spot in the Sprint Cup Series driver standings, but he's still the sportsbooks' favorite to visit Victory Lane on Saturday night in the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway.

Edwards ran into problems last weekend at Daytona's Coke Zero 400 and ended up back in 37th place. That gave Kevin Harvick (who finished seventh) the opening he needed to take over first place in the Sprint Cup driver standings after 17 events.

Coke Zero 400 Odds Preview

NASCAR betting heads back to Daytona International Speedway this weekend as the Sprint Cup Series starts their engines for the Coke Zero 400.

When NASCAR began the season at Daytona in February unknown Trevor Bayne delivered one of the biggest upsets in NASCAR history by winning the Daytona 500. Bayne hasn't finished better than 16th place in nine starts since then, so his chances or winning again at Daytona this weekend are pretty slim. That's why he's a 35/1 underdog at Bovada.

Toyota/Save Mart 350 NASCAR Odds

Sprint Cup drivers will add right turns to their repertoire this weekend with the first road course race of the season, the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway.

Last season at Infineon Jimmie Johnson won his first road course race. If he can repeat his visit to Victory Lane this weekend he'll do it as an 8/1 underdog at Bovada. Johnson has three Top-5 finishes in his last seven starts at Infineon, and before finishing well back in 27th last week at Michigan he had posted back-to-back Top-10 finishes.

NASCAR Betting: Michigan Race Odds

The favorite to claim the checkered flag at this weekend's Sprint Cup Series race is current points leader Carl Edwards, who is set at 5/1 by the oddsmakers to win the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips 400 at Michigan International Speedway.

Edwards has been watching his lead atop the standings shrink the last couple of weeks, and he suffered a big blow last week when he finished well back in 37th place at Pocono.
