Usain Bolt Odds: Olympic Track Favorite

Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt is the defending Olympic champion in both the men's 100m and 200m races, and he's the big favorite at the sportsbooks to win those two events once again in London.

Bolt earned the gold medal in those events in Beijing, and he's the favorite at 7/10 at Bovada to finish first in the men's 100m this weekend and at 4/7 to finish first in the men's 200m next week. The men's 100m event begins on Saturday and concludes on Sunday, while the 200m event runs from August 7-9.

Phelps vs. Lochte on Olympic odds

Rival American swimmers Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte will be back in the Olympic pool on Wednesday as they swim in the heats for the men's 200m individual medley in London.

Lochte, who won this race at the world championships in 2011, is the 4/9 favorite at Bovada to win the final of the event on Thursday, with Phelps pegged at 7/4 odds to take home the gold.

USA favored by 55 points over Tunisia

The United States men's basketball team won its first game of the Olympics by a 98-71 score over France on Sunday, and if the oddsmakers are correct they'll be an even bigger winner on Tuesday as they take on Tunisia.

The Americans are favored by a whopping 55 points at Bovada in their game against Tunisia on Tuesday. Tunisia was edged 60-56 by Nigeria in their first game of the tournament on the weekend.

Federer, Williams Olympic Tennis Odds

Roger Federer and Serena Williams will both be back on the court on Monday as Olympic tennis betting continues in London, with both players set as big favorites to advance to the next round.

Federer beat Alejandro Falla of Colombia by scores of 6-3, 5-7, 6-3 in the first round of the tournament, and he'll take on Julien Benneteau of France in second-round action on Monday. Federer is the -1600 favorite on the tennis odds at Bovada, with Benneteau the +700 underdog.

Michael Phelps betting gets underway

Michael Phelps swam away with eight gold medals for the United States at the Olympics in Beijing back in 2008, and he gets his London Games underway on Saturday with the men's 400m individual medley.

Phelps, though, is second at 1/1 at Bovada on the Olympic swimming odds to win the men's 400m individual medley on Saturday, with teammate Ryan Lochte set as the 8/11 favorite to claim the gold medal at the event.

Olympic Basketball Odds: USA Chalk

The Dream Team of 1992 was considered the best team of all time but the Olympic basketball odds on this year’s edition of the US team are even more prohibitive.

The roster of NBA stars is a 1/8 favorite, meaning you have to bet $8 to turn a $1 profit. That is a huge number, but if you think it’s money in the bank it could be worth a wager.

London Summer Olympics Betting Odds

Are the Americans primed for a gold-medal comeback at the London Olympics? The online sportsbooks have Team USA pegged as the favorite on the betting odds to win the most gold medals at the Summer Games, with events getting underway in earnest on Saturday in England.

The United States is listed as the -175 favorite at Bovada to return home from England with the most gold medals this summer, while the rival Chinese team is second at +140 on that odds list.
